  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

    Steep saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of hot (not boiling) water for 10 minutes to release color and aroma.
  2. Cook the Pasta:
    Prepare your pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking water.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the saffron water, then add cream and parmesan, stirring gently until smooth.
  4. Combine:
    Toss in the cooked pasta, using reserved pasta water to reach your desired creaminess. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve:
    Plate warm, topped with extra parmesan and a sprinkle of saffron threads.
